Jammu, Jun 20 (KNO): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday arrived on a 2-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), he interacted with soldiers and Army top brass at Northern Command, Udhampur.
Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, and other senior Indian Army officials were present on the occasion.
The Defence Minister will attend the “International Yoga Day” celebrations in Udhampur on Saturday.
Before leaving for Udhampur Singh wrote on X: “Shall attend the International Yoga Day celebrations tomorrow morning. Also, looking forward to interact with the Armed Forces personnel at Udhampur Cantt.”—(KNO)
